Wellington Christmas Parade

Wellington's Christmas Parade had some very special guests yesterday - with sick kids and HOSPI the lion in attendance.

The Foundation held a coin collections at the start of the Christmas Parade and raised an impressive $6,000 for Wellington Children's Hospital.

A big THANK YOU goes out to our 35 amazing volunteers - staff from the Hospital, Medical students and the community - who braved the cold and wind to be there collecting for our kids.

Go Wellington provided a bus so children from the Children's Hospital could attend and Tip Top provided 60 ice blocks for the kids to enjoy.
