Spiritual Window for Neonatal Unit
When a loved one passes away it is very hard for the family, particularly when it is a newborn who passes away so early in life.
To help support parents at such a difficult time, the Foundation has funded a new spiritual window in the Neonatal Unit.
The window, the only one in the new Hospital that opens, has a nature theme and parents and staff can request it is opened when their wee one passes away so their spirit can leave the hospital through the open window.
We value having the opportunity to provide something so simple and beautiful that will help many parents through such a difficult time.
