Fresh Future Begins

The 2009 Fresh Future Appeal began today with Wellington's launch at Wellington Hospital.

Staff from Woolworths and Countdown stores throughtout Wellington attended the launch and meet HOSPI our mascot.

Paediatric Surgeon Mr Brendon Bowkett presented a very intriguing presentation about the wonderful work he does saving our Children's lives and Dr Ross Wilson held an eye-opening presentation about Shaken Baby Syndrome.

Both areas have been well supported at Wellington Children's Hospital through the Fresh Future Appeal.

The Appeal will run for 8 weeks throughout New Zealand to raise funds for 10 Children's Hospitals and dedicated children's wards.  To support the Appeal, pop into any Woolworths, Countdown, Foodtown or Dicksmith store and donate at the checkout.
