Easter Comes Early at Children's Hospital
Easter came early this year at Wellington Children's Hospital when members of the Young Vinnies group from St Mary's College, Wellington, visited the Hospital last week with Easter Eggs for the young patients and their families.
Year 13 students Grace, Michelle and Alice, ran an Easter Egg drive throughout their school - where each student was encouraged to bring in an Easter Egg or a gold coin to purchase the chocolate treat for children in hospital.
The three students (pictured below) enjoyed handing eggs out to mums and dads in the Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit and young patients in the Children's Hospital - some of whom had been in Hospital for a month and welcomed the sweet distraction!
