Argentine 7s Team Visits Hospital
The Argentine Sevens team made a stop in their busy pre-tournament training to include a visit to Wellington Children's Hospital.
The visit, arranged by the Embassy of Argentina in New Zealand and the Wellington Hospitals and Health Foundation, was a highlight for many children in hospital.
Every player from the team visited including their star player (and captain) Santiago Gomez Cora who holds the record for the most tries scored in World Series sevens rugby (currently on 213, and counting).
Boys and girls from 10 months old to 15years spent time with the players, swapping their own shirts for Argentina team shirts and enjoying blue and white balloons, lollies and rugby balls.
